A Few Speakers…

Earlier this week, Dan Marshall said a beguiling and temptatious thing: “Guys, nice effort but let’s be honest it’s not happening, no one’s getting any work done. Let’s call it Christmas and knock off until 2012.”

Nonetheless, I’ve not succumbed to Christmas yet. You’ll see the front page has updated with a stealthy speaker announcement, and those are just a few of the fine human beings that will be speaking, performing, designing and doing stuff at Bit of Alright. If you’ve said to me that you’d like to do a thing for Bit of Alright, but don’t see yourself in the list yet, don’t fret. Thanks for all of your submissions and ideas, I’ll be getting back to everyone soon. In the meantime, please have a lovely Christmas, Hanukkah, or few days after the solstice.

More announcements to follow in the new year, and “me” should soon become “we”.

Lanyrd

Bit Of alright is also now on Lanyrd. Lanyrd often spooks me out a little, because by the time I get around to setting it up, generally my event is already on there and attributed to me. That’s exactly what happened again this time, and the attendee directory has a meagre four people in it, including me. Bit of Alright has sold a lot more tickets than that, so go forth and populate!

Whoosh!

Thank you everyone, that was quite a launch. We’re swimming in email, and ticket sales went through the roof. All of the early bird ones are gone, but you can still get normal tickets here.

Next week, we’ll have some exciting announcements about the lineup and partners.
